2008 Lent Edition - Lena
A close friend of mine, Noel (where did hi-dal-go) helped to open the first 'door' to the faith. My journey into the faith started with Noel's help and it's been 7 years since I opened that door.
I wanna thank Noel for inviting me for the Street Retreat - it's been a while since I last gave this much time to myself to reflect. These images do not necessarily reflect my interpretation of faith but it is the messages that I see everyday that makes me think of Him,
Here's my reflection for today:
Give me eyes so I may see
Gicve me ears so I may hear
Give me heart so I may live
Give me faith so I may breathe
For my heart truly belongs to only You
My feet rooted to Your Life
My soul sings only of Your praise
My praise sings of Your love
Reign in my heart

sshhhh... something's a-brewing
Consider this a soft launch: we've been toying with an updated youth website for some time now, and we're getting ready to formally launch it on next weekend's thanksgiving mass. What's the address?

That's YOUhf. On it, we hope to release all our announcements, upcoming events and news for the youth scene in Holy Family. It's a bit sparse now, but in time to come we'll be filling up the space with news - starting with Camp Incredible.

All the photo's from our first Street Retreat have been finally uploaded! We have a total of 313 photos in this set (click here to see them all!) Don't be surprised if you see your picture up at 3 Sea Avenue starting from this weekend, as we'll be hosting a small exhibition of the photos taken to share with the parish.

Where does Jesus live? He lives in our hearts, in the people around us; where two or three are gathered, there is He. When you see beauty in nature, God's presence or touch is felt too.
